In late November 2010 I listed with LJ Hookers Unley an investment property in Glenunga for sale. The property presented a challenge as it was leased until 28 February 2011.
Campaign preparations were undertaken and private inspections started from mid-January 2011 through the remaining period.
LJ Hooker's principal Mr Peter Economou undertook the initial open inspections and oversaw the broader campaign activities. He ensured the property at all times was presented in an optimum condition throughout the private inspections.
With Mr Economou's impending leave, Ms Flora Ganter ably undertook the principal responsibility for the campaign until the property was sold.
Note; that from November 2010 the housing, manufacturing and retail sectors in the Australian economy contracted. Purchases adopted a cautious, conservative outook. A combination of significat events had impacted since January 2011.
The buyers' market continued to firm and pose a formidably challenge. Admittedly, at one time during the campaign I gave serious consideration whether to withdraw the property from sale and place it on the rental market.
However, Ms Ganter's approach under these challenging circumstances was to display confidence and a quiet determination. She presented with a buoyed and optimistic outlook despite the housing market further softening.
Ms Ganter maintained a steady professional approach and kept the Vendor-Agent-Purchaser relationship well informed. Her feedback permitted the parties to achieve a satisfactory outcome for my property's sale/purchase.
Ms Ganter astutely assessed my purchaser's needs and fulfilled their expectation. By doing so, as the vendor, my expectations were also met during a highly discerning house market environment.

Greg provided an excellent level of service & communication, arranging for my Hyde Park property to be professionally furnished & commenced preparing high quality marketing material immediately so that the property was presented to its maximum potential in a very short time period.
I accepted Greg's advice to sell by way of a short Auction campaign with no price guide advertised & Auction on the third weekend. The first weekend of opens was an outstanding success with some 80 groups inspecting my property.
Greg was able to present me with an unconditional offer with cooling off rights waived on the Tuesday after the first weekend of opens at a price thousands of dollars in excess of my expectations and if accepted it also allowed me to some thousands of dollars on further advertising.
